12/5/2010 - Glial Center to host conference on Glial Biology in Medicine
The UAB Center for Glial Biology in Medicine will serve as host for the upcoming "Bevill Conference on Glial Biology in Medicine", scheduled for December 5 - 7, 2010 on the UAB campus. Currently confirmed speakers are Dwight Bergles, Anthony Campagnoni, Patrizia Casaccia, Magdalena Goetz, Pierre Magistretti, Robert Miller, Maiken Nedergaard, Eric Newman and Akiko Nishiyama speaking on topics including Glial Vascular Interactions, Glia and CNS Immunity, Glia Axonal Interactions and Glia and Neurological Disease.
